A patient presented with a painful, bulging mass at the site of a matured AV fistula, raising suspicion of aneurysmal changes. On surgical exploration, a significant aneurysm of the draining vein was identified, along with organized thrombus.
The procedure involved:
Proximal control and ligation of the feeding vessel, evacuation of thrombus from the aneurysmal segment, and repair of the aneurysm wall to preserve surrounding structures and maintain hemodynamic safety.
