Glue Treatment For Varicose Veins

What do I need TREATMENT for?
As your vascular surgeon has explained to you, you suffer from varicose veins of your legs, which are widened and buldging superficial veins caused by weakening of their wall and by failure of their valves to close properly and direct blood flow one-way towards the heart.

Laser (EVLA) /Radiofrequency treatment for Varicose Veins

What do I need TREATMENT for?

As your vascular surgeon has explained to you, you suffer from varicose veins of your legs, which are widened and buldging superficial veins caused by weakening of their wall and by failure of their valves to close properly and direct blood flow one-way towards the heart.

Microsclerotherapy For Cosmetic Purpose

What is VEIN INJECTION SCLEROTHERAPY?

Injection sclerotherapy is a non-surgical method which was developed a long time ago with the aim to treat unsightly and damaged veins, such as the spider veins (or thread veins or venous flares) and the varicose veins of the legs. It is a safe and successful method. In smaller veins like the spiders, the technique of micro-sclerotherapy is used.

Peripheral Artery Bypass/Angioplasty/Steting

What do i need TREATMENT for?

As your vascular surgeon has explained to you, it was found that you have a medical problem related to a very narrow or blocked artery usually due to atherosclerosis (or hardening of the arteries), which affects the arteries of your leg(s), and is called peripheral occlusive arterial disease. This blockage reduces the blood flow to your limb to such a low level that its function is affected either causing you symptoms, such as disabling intermittent claudication, or putting the viability of your foot at risk, as in critical limb ischaemia.

Aortic Aneurysm Stenting/Open Surgery

What do I need TREATMENT for?

As your vascular surgeon has explained to you, the main artery in your abdomen, the abdominal aorta, has a weak and swollen area (abdominal aortic aneurysm). In order to prevent bursting (rupture) of the aneurysm, you need to have an operation for replacement of this part of the aorta with a graft.

Av Fistula Treatment

What do I need TREATMENT for?

As your nephrologist (or renal physician or kidney disease specialist) has already explained to you, you have a condition called end-stage chronic renal failure, which means that your kidneys have suffered permanent damage so that they cannot clear your blood efficiently from certain toxic substances circulating in it. Your kidney function will be replaced by the dialysis machine (artificial kidney) to which you will be connected 3 times a week.

Diabetic Foot / Podiatric Surgery

Why do my FEET need SPECIAL ATTENTION

Diabetes mellitus (DM) damages certain nerves to the feet and hands (diabetic neuropathy) and may cause:

  • Loss of feeling, tingling and pain in your feet. These sensations normally protect and warn you of injuries to your feet
  • Muscle weakness and foot deformity (neuropathic arthropathy)

Day Care Surgeries

Day Care Surgery is a revolution in the field of medicine. In a day and age where life is governed by effective time management, the option of availing of quality surgical care within the span of a day is a blessing for individuals and their families. Surgery in Vascular trauma case

What do i need TREATMENT for?

Vascular trauma, or damage to a blood vessel, can happen to anyone. Often the result of an accident or injury, a vascular trauma can be mild, moderate, or severe. Some common symptoms of vascular trauma are bleeding, bruising, and fractured bones.

Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) Treatment

What is the TREATMENT?

The aim of treatment is to prevent

  • death from pulmonary thromboembolism
  • recurrence of DVT
  • the post-thrombotic syndrome.

In most cases, this is achieved with anticoagulants, like Heparin and Warfarin (or Sintrom). We initially administer some form of Heparin in subcutaneous injections for 5-7 days and then it is decided whether the injection therapy will continue for several months or whether it will be replaced by Warfarin tablets.

Treatment For TOS

Options exist in the management of Thoracic Outlet Syndrome.

For each type of problem- venous, arterial and nerve impingement– there are non-surgical and surgical options.

When the subclavian artery has been injured by the bony and non-bony structures at the thoracic outlet the best treatment is surgery. It is important to decompress the artery removing the first and cervical ribs as well as any constricting connective and muscle tissue. The subclavian artery itself may need to be replaced or repaired so that no further clot forms.

AV Malformation Intervention

What is VASCULAR MALFORMATION?

The term vascular malformation is a general term and includes any malformation (i.e. congenital anomaly) involving vessels. A vascular malformation may be located anywhere in the body.

There are venous malformations (only veins), lymphatic malformations (only lymph vessels), venolymphatic malformations (veins and lymph vessels) and arteriovenous malformations (arteries directly connected to veins without capillaries in between).

Endovascular Surgery

Endovascular surgery is a procedure that is performed using minimally invasive catheter techniques on the arteries or veins. Procedures include aneurysm repair, grafts, stents, varicose vein repair, and more. Endovascular surgery is often performed on an outpatient basis.

Above Knee / Below Knee Amputation Surgery

What do i need OPERATION for?

Your vascular surgeon has probably recommended this operation for one of the following reasons:

The blood supply to your foot is very poor, because the arteries of the leg have become very narrow or are completely blocked. This condition is quite serious, because the foot cannot survive and will make you feel very unwell. You may have developed severe pain in your foot waking you at night or even ulcers and black areas in the toes, foot or lower leg.
